I’ve recently expanded my practice into Central London — the timing felt right, and the location is ideal. I found a delightful therapy room on Queen Anne Street, close to Harley Street, which is renowned worldwide for its high-end medical care and cosmetic treatments.
The room is designed to provide a calm and welcoming space where clients can fully relax and feel at ease. It is quiet, private, and comfortably furnished, with soft lighting and soothing decor to encourage deep relaxation. The ambience is supportive, helping you let go of everyday distractions and focus entirely on your own inner experience. Above all, it is a safe space where clients can explore change and healing with complete trust and comfort.
It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Bond Street tube, right by Oxford Street, one of the most vibrant shopping areas in the world. The average daily footfall around here is probably higher than anywhere in the UK. It’s also a few strides from the Royal Society of Medicine, where I am a member, allowing me access to the library at any time.
The practice is ideally situated between Marylebone and Mayfair—two West End districts I know well. I’ve previously worked in Mayfair (just off Berkeley Square) and am familiar with its unique atmosphere of wealth, privacy, and professional intensity. In contrast, Marylebone is somewhat more community-oriented, although equally driven. Both areas attract successful, high-achieving individuals who often contend with work stress, perfectionism, relationship challenges, or the emotional strains of maintaining success and status.
I firmly believe that stress, anxiety, and unhelpful belief patterns contribute significantly to physical wellbeing. That’s why my therapy work focuses on helping clients address root causes — supporting emotional resilience and, in turn, promoting better overall health.
As Dr Lissa Rankin points out in her ‘Mind Over Medicine’ book, regardless of whether we are privileged or underprivileged, common factors — stress, low self-esteem, loneliness, and relationship difficulties — can contribute to many health issues. The good news is that these matters can be addressed with the right support, through a mindset shift that improves self-belief.
This is an essential insight for me: no matter where you live, there is a commonality of medical complaints that arise from being frustrated with the life you’re leading now. This is why I’m committed to helping clients make change happen; it can also enhance their physical health.
Hypnotherapy can assist with a broad range of concerns and is most effective as part of a balanced approach to health, complementing rather than replacing conventional medical care.
Do come and visit me soon in these marvellous rooms; I’m here on Thursdays and over the weekend. Visit my website to arrange a complimentary preliminary call and discover how I can assist you, then book sessions online with me.
And yep .. even the cafés around here are pretty upmarket – the baristas who craft patterns in your cappuccino use fashion designer labels! 😄
