In therapy, as in life, we readily express what we don’t want. So we’ll say things like: I don’t want to be a failure, I don’t want to feel down, etc. ‘Don’t’ expresses a fear and represents a block. But it can be hard to define what you want – the Clean Language questioning method I use will help you uncover it as we work together.

Hypnotherapy helps identify what might be holding you back, and then release these deep-set blocks and empower you to take steps to achieve your goals. Thus, you can focus your energy on achieving what you want rather than wasting it on what you don’t.

Relaxing Under Pressure

Being under pressure means feeling stressed, tense, or overwhelmed—often because of high expectations, deadlines, big decisions, or difficult situations. If it lasts too long, pressure can affect mood, focus, sleep, and even health. Learning how to handle it can greatly affect how you feel and perform.

I will teach you some specific hypnotherapy techniques that can help you relax under pressure; they can be done discreetly in a meeting or before one. They include: breathing control, anchoring where you learn to link a calm feeling to a small action (like touching your fingers together), so you can “trigger” relaxation whenever you need it, and visualisation, plus many others.
