Ideal Hypnotherapy

Past Life Regression

Past Life Regression (PLR) is a technique used in Clinical Hypnotherapy to help clients explore memories or impressions that seem to stem from previous lifetimes. Guided into a relaxed, hypnotic state, clients may uncover symbolic stories or emotional themes that shed light on present-day issues, such as phobias, relationship patterns, or inexplicable emotional difficulties.

Understanding PLR

In a clinical setting, PLR is not about proving reincarnation. Instead, it serves as a tool for self-exploration and emotional healing. The stories or images that emerge, whether viewed as actual past lives or metaphors created by the subconscious mind, can help clients understand recurring emotional patterns, phobias, physical symptoms, or relationship dynamics that have unclear origins in their present life.

The impact of PLR is deeply personal. For some, the experience offers meaningful metaphors; for others, it feels like a direct connection to a former existence. Regardless of interpretation, the emotional and psychological shifts can be significant, so a trained, ethical practitioner must manage the process with care.

Safety First

When carefully applied with hypnosis, PLR creates a safe and grounded environment for clients to release old emotional burdens, uncover inner truths, and reconnect with a deeper sense of self and purpose.

I offer PLR as a sideline service for those aged over 25; however, it is a specialised form of hypnotherapy that may not be suitable for everyone due to possible psychological implications (i.e. side effects).

As a properly PLR-trained hypnotherapist, I assess your mindset for interpreting novel experiences that may occur during PLR, such as between-lives impressions, which can be unnerving to many, not just those who are sensitive or highly anxious. When done properly, with due care and attention, PLR can be beneficial.
