“I was diagnosed with clinical depression a while ago, and have been in counselling and CBT for a long time, as well as taking antidepressants, but none of these made any difference. In fact, I felt myself getting worse, which led me into very deep despair. I constantly felt tired and miserable, and I could not see a way out of it.
I was then referred to Kail as someone who might be able to help. We had several sessions in his therapy room. Kail explained everything clearly and worked at a gentle pace, which suited me and helped me relax. It was clear he genuinely cared about my wellbeing.
After each session, I began to notice a real shift. I now feel more at peace with myself and have the energy to enjoy things again. I’m clearer about what I want and am starting to reconnect with people. I feel less afraid and can see a future for myself.
After losing a lot of weight, my appetite has thankfully returned, and I’m taking better care of myself overall, including sleeping on time. We’ve also created a workable plan to help me keep moving forward, while continuing my medication and the other therapies. I must admit, waking up each morning feels really good again.
